Evaluating the Degree of Export Readiness of Nigerian Businesses for the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA)

This study aims to do a critical evaluation of the degree of export readiness of Nigerian businesses under the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA). The research method was quantitative, and a survey was used to collect primary data from 118 enterprises of different sizes, in different sectors and locations in different zones and states of the country.

The research method was qualitative and data collection was from 24 SME manufacturers and this was done via a one-on-one semi-structured interview with each of the respondents.
