The objective of this research study is to examine the impact of race and gender on the labour market position of immigrant women in Canada using the Integrative Literature Review research method. The position of immigrant women in the Canadian labour market is influenced by gendered and racialized institutional policies, practices and accreditation systems leading to underemployment and unemployment of immigrant women.
